Good to see a small part of Nantes before heading to the airport for our flight home.

View from the hotel window this morning, Nantes city centre across the river.

First trip this morning was to see the mechanical elephant – fantastic!

And the carousel – three levels!

Then the L’Apero

And then the final match in the pool stages

Great result, eventually!

Finished off a fantastic day with a wonderful meal at Le Lion et L’agneau. Washed done with a very nice, full bodied, bottle of red wine.

Didn’t have chance to take pictures of the starter, smoked mackerel in an egg sauce with mushrooms – Daphne ate my mushrooms 🤣

And so the tour resumes.
