Cardiff Blues 2017

Whilst I am still not a fan of Judgement Day, giving away our home advantage, yesterday’s result was outstanding.  The Blues played at such pace and accuracy that the Ospreys did not appear to show up in he first half.  Even with the Blues down to 14 players twice during the game the Ospreys were unable to find any real form and control.

Each player on the Blues team should be proud of their performance both individually and as a team.  Form has been good of late and let’s hope they keep this up for the last two games of this season.  Well done Cardiff Blues!

Cardiff Blues 2017

So today has arrived, it’s Judgement Day at the Principality Stadium – yippee!

As you can tell, I am not a fan of playing our game in the Principality Stadium.  It is a big game for the Blues so why give up home advantage?

Hoping the Blues can break their poor record against the Ospreys and come away with a win.  C’mon Blues!

Sorry Scarlets and Dragons but I am going home straight after the Blues match.

Cardiff Blues 2017

Big weekend in Gloucester, the Blues take on Gloucester in the quarter final of this year’s challenge cup.  Blues have a strong side:

Cardiff Blues: Matthew Morgan; Alex Cuthbert, Rey Lee-Lo, Steve Shingler, Blaine Scully; Gareth Anscombe, Lloyd Williams; Gethin Jenkins (capt), Kristian Dacey, Taufa’ao Filise, George Earle, Jarrad Hoeata, Sam Warburton, Josh Navidi, Nick Williams.

Replacements: Matthew Rees, Corey Domachowski, Kieron Assiratti, Macauley Cook, Sion Bennett, Tomos Williams, Willis Halaholo, Aled Summerhill.

In recent years the Blues have competed well against Gloucester, let’s hope it is another victory this evening.

Winners will travel to La Rochelle for the semi final – another great away game to hopefully look forward to.

C’mon the Blues!
