City v Everton

Another good result for the Bluebirds drawing nil nil with Everton. Well done Gary Medel for getting away with not giving away a penalty – the only time in the game when the Ref made a decisions in our favour, albeit probably the wrong decision.

4 points from 3 games, a good start to Premiership football.

Saturday Sport

Excellent result for the Bluebirds yesterday, wish I had seen it but decided to go to rugby instead.

Rugby was not up to much, especially with the poor state of the playing surface due to the heavy rain.

Pre match and after match was good as always; really enjoyed the meal at Bill’s restaurant.

Looking forward to Tuesday evening, hopefully a win for City and promotion celebrations.

Visit to Llanelli next Saturday for the Scarlets match should be good, although not holding out much hope of a victory.

Dilemma over!

This was my predicament.

This Saturday, the Blues play their last home game of the season against Zebre, a 2.30pm kick off and Cardiff City are playing at home against Notts Forest, a 3pm kick off. Being a member and season ticket holder at the Blues and a season ticket holder at Cardiff City which game should I watch?

Now, it is not as simple as rugby or football and I will explain why.

Being the last home rugby match we have planned an after match meal with our friends, and of course pre match drinks; this being more important than the rugby this season. However, if City had won last night against Barnsley and then win on Saturday, and providing Watford lose on Saturday, City could have been celebrating automatic promotion and something worth witnessing. But City drew last night so it won’t happen Saturday.

Therefore, as would always be my first choice, rugby and social afternoon wins!

Come on the Blues and the Bluebirds!

Cardiff City v Brighton

At the ground early tonight and have managed to get into a proper car park – that will save me having another parking fine.

Time for some gourmet food at McDonalds, should be safe to have the chicken burger.

Looking forward to my free red scarf. Come on the Bluebirds!

Not the outcome we wanted, lost 2 0. Still the free scarf was appreciated, can’t believe the attitude of those who through their scarves away at the end of the match.
