The sun was shining brightly in Porthcawl this morning, excellent walking weather. Plenty of people took advantage of the opportunity, whether out to walk their dogs or just for a morning stroll from Coney Beach
Some great views of the coast too.
Have just received our tickets for the forthcoming back to back matches at the Principality Stadium, I must say, being a season ticket holder at Cardiff Blues, with premium seating, I am dissappointed by two things:
1. That we are giving away home advantage against our local rivals, in such an important end of season match, by playing next door and not at our home ground.
2. Being allocated seats between the try line and 22m line. As a season ticket holder I pay a premium price to sit in the centre block, on half way, at Cardiff Arms Park.
Whilst this back to back event will see in excess of 50,000 so called supporters attending this event, and this will add much needed revenue for the Regions, I must ask:
1. Why are the true supporters being disadvantaged?
2. Where are all these so called supporters week in week out? Our average gate at the Cardiff Arms Park is less than 4,000 per game.
Rant over……..
Looking forward to a great weekend of sport.
Tomorrow going to watch Cardiff City v QPR – c’mons the Bluebirds.
On Sunday, after lunch with our good friends Tony, Jacqui, John and Carol, it is the local derby, Blues v Dragons at Cardiff Arms Park. With only 3 games left this season, a bonus point win against the Dragons will keep our hopes alive for a top 6 finish and qualification to the European Championship Cup next season. Let’s hope there is big support for the Blues, it is going to be a great match. Blues have selected a strong team – C’mon the Blues!!
