I have learnt that when tuning a guitar string also check that you are adjusting the correct string, otherwise the string you are adjusting might stretch far too much and snap. I now have a new D string!

Great result for the Blues against the Scarlets tonight. Not even the poor refereeing decisions in the second half could spoil the match.

Two big matches this weekend. Cardiff Blues are away to London Irish and after the home win last week a second victory in two weeks will do more than help us win our group and a place in the next round – we will be in Reading to add our support. The Bluebirds need a vital win tomorrow but their away form is not good. Hoping Bournemouth have a bad day at home.

We had a great night tonight with our friends, Tony and Jacqui, firstly at Tintern Abbey for a torchlight Christmas carol service followed by a meal at the Anchor Inn, Tintern.

Two big games today, Blues are playing London Irish and Bluebirds are playing Rotherham. Unfortunately, both games are at home, the same time. Rules state that rugby comes first so off to the BT Cardiff Arms Park.
