Was it really worth getting up so early this morning to watch Wales against Japan? No, Wales didn’t play badly but they were second best especially after so many changes being made early in the second half. The result was a loss to Wales by 23 points to 8. The first time Japan have beaten a top 10 ranked team. Why was this a full capped tour?

The second game of the day, Lions v Waratahs, was much better. A good match and another Lions win 47 points to 17. Hope Jamie Roberts is ok for the first test next Saturday. Some excellent individual performances. Can’t wait for the first test.
