What a difference two nights out in two separate restaurants can make.

On Friday night we went to The Bush in St Hilary – the food was excellent and the service outstanding.

Last night, Saturday, we went to the Sportsman’s Rest in Peterstone-Super-Ely – the food was ok and the staff were friendly but an hour and a half wait between starter and main course was unacceptable. The couple sitting at the table next to us waited over an hour for their starters, I think they thought they were staying for Breakfast this morning.

Today we are eating at my mothers where food service and timings will no doubt be perfect!
